The city of Havlíčkův Brod is situated in a hilly part of Vysočina region. History of the hospital is dated back to 1897. Today it has its important place in Vysočina region and in providing treatments its level is above this region. Our doctors are in close cooperation with specialists in other regional hospitals and some of university hospitals.

The hospital has 534 beds in 19  wards. There are following wards in the hospital main building : internal medicine, surgery ward, orthopedics, neurology, pediatric ward, dialysis, anaesthetiological and resuscitation clinic, gynecology, urology, ear-nose-throat clinic, opthalmology, central operating theatres, central sterilization, medical nutrition ward etc.

The hospital has set up very good conditions for medical and nursing care for patients and meets all 21st century health institution standards. We have proffesional doctors-specialists, general nurses, midwives and laboratory assistants, who are further educating themselves in their professions and are ready for proffesional attitude towards the patient and his family.
